FOREWARNING:
< No longer in active development >
This game is very much not finished. You will encounter:
• Non-functional half-implementations,
• UI that is off-center or unintuitive,
• Poor optimization / loading times,
•Some bugs.
GUIDE:
Recruiting Enemies
To recruit an enemy, you must feed it enough food whose nutritional values sum to its level, e.g., to recruit a level 5 enemy, you can feed:
- one level 5 food,
- two level 2 foods and one level 1 food,
- five level 1 foods,
- etc.
Be careful! Make sure you have enough food to recruit before you start feeding an enemy. If you don't reach its level, your food will be spent for nothing!
Battling & 'Morale'
- Your beasts will duke it out automatically. Once the battle starts, all you can do is kick back and cheer your little guys on.
- Your beasts will heal automatically after every battle, even when they lose.
- Your team has a morale gauge in the top right corner. Losing a battle will cost you 1 morale, but you also gain 1 morale for each win (capped at 3).
- When your morale is fully depleted, the run is over!!
Abilities
- Each beast has an ability loadout, composed of 1 'movement ability' (denoted with the lightning bolt in the left of the ability icon frame), and two 'skill' abilities.
- A given beast can learn an unlimited number of abilities, but can only 'equip' a limited amount to their loadout at a time.
- Movement abilities' cooldowns are reduced by the beasts' SPD stat.
- Skill abilities' cooldowns are reduced by the beast's DEX stat.
- To equip an ability to a beast's loadout, simply click on its icon in the 'Learned' section.
- Right click an ability in the loadout to unequip it.

Do you plan on adding or having shiny equals in the game? Because I think it would be cool to have a normal bit beast dex and a shiny one to fill out
Good question! Shiny forms is definitely something I've been wanting to add for a while. I'm doing a small pivot with this game right now, so it might be a little while before I upload a new version, but shinies and a dex are on my list of things to add whenever that is! Thanks for trying it out :-)
No problem thanks for replying and it is a great project! I'll definitely be waiting. 👍
